Earlier this week, President Biden announced plans to create a new set of airline passenger rights that may look familiar to you.

The proposed regulation would guarantee compensation when cancellations or significant delays happen that are under the airlines' control. Air carriers would have to rebook travelers, provide a meal or meal vouchers, and pay for hotel accommodations and travel to and from the airport.
