For the debut podcast, I decided to get out of town — way out of town. We’re in Cape Town, South Africa, a 20-hour flight from our home airport.
Here’s my unscripted discussion with the boys, Aren and Iden Elliott, about our experiences here. We talked about everything from South Africa’s tourism infrastructure to security.
We referred to one work of art in this podcast and I promised to post a picture. This is Johannes Phokela’s “Eating People Isn’t Always Wrong,” on display at the Zeitz Mocaa museum in Cape Town.
And here’s a view from the old choir loft of the District Six Museum in Cape Town. That’s Iden standing on the map.
I hope you enjoy our debut podcast.
