Omicron update: Is it too soon to cancel your trip?

With COVID cases rising again, many travelers are wondering if it's time to cancel their holiday trips. That's a valid question, given this weekend's developments.

New COVID infections are trending upward in the United States, according to the CDC.

We also have a few new details on the omicron variant. It appears to be more transmissible and can more easily reinfect people who have already had COVID, but we don't yet know if it's more dangerous. Here's everything we have so far via the World Health Organization, which admittedly is not much.
