Set sail with us this week for a five-day adventure on the Hurtigruten MS Polarlys, a supply ship that makes frequent stops along Norway’s coast. In this week’s episode, we’ll tell you what it’s like to be north of the Arctic Circle in August.
We have so much to share with you in this episode of the Elliott Confidential Podcast, from life aboard the Polarlys to our impressions of Norway. And we’ll tell you what we thought of those fjords.
Before I get to the pictures, here’s this week’s question: Tell us about your most adventurous cruise. Where did you go and what did you experience? As always, we’ll read your comments in our next podcast.

OK, picture time!
Here are the boys with our ship, the MS Polarlys. The water wasn’t always this flat-calm. But on some days, it was almost like a lake.
The fjords were magical. We’ve never seen anything like them — and we probably never will again. This narrow passageway was about halfway through our journey in Lofoten and we were lucky to have great weather for it.
Our last port was Bergen, a fun town with lots of excellent art museums and the Fløibanen, a train that takes you to the top of the mountain for a spectacular view.
I will write more about our Norway adventure soon.
