Greetings from Aizuwakamatsu, Japan.
We’re coming to you from Northern Japan this week, but during the last two weeks, we’ve been everywhere. We’ll share our impressions in this week’s podcast.

This week’s question: Please tell us about a trip where you felt out of place — I mean, really out of place. We’ll share our experiences in this episode and read yours in our next podcast.
Iden takes a break at Yuno Lake in Nikko, Japan. This area is famous for its Onsen, the thermal hot springs, and its beautiful lakes. And, as Iden will remind you, they also have great vending machines with cold beverages.
Aren checks out the Tamozawa Imperial Villa, a restored 19th-century villa used by the Japanese emperor. Our visit to Japan has been an almost continuous history lesson. There’s a lot of ground to cover.
One of the highlights of our visit to Tokyo was an all-day tour of Mt. Fuji with our friend Ramkey. At the end of the day, we paid our respects at the Shinto shrine at Kawaguchi, where they worship the mountain.
Shinjuku City, the beating heart of Tokyo. OK, I just made that up. But this place sure is hoppin’. It’s a sensory overload but also an unforgettable experience.
Once again, this week’s question: Please tell us about a trip where you felt out of place — I mean, really out of place. You know what I’m talking about.
