How will the Omicron variant affect travel?

It's happening again. Borders are closing, flights are being canceled and I've heard from several travelers who say their tours have been postponed. Yes, the new COVID variant called Omicron is freaking everyone out. 

But so far, at least, Omicron is living up to its Greek name.
