New Transportation Department numbers say flight cancellations are way down this year. But are they for you?

Here’s some unexpectedly good news for air travelers: Despite the CrowdStrike outage, summer storms, and record-breaking air travel volume, flight cancelation rates have fallen below pre-pandemic levels.

The U.S. Department of Transportation reported the numbers yesterday, just ahead of the busy Labor Day holiday weekend.
