Can you imagine an airport without check-in kiosks? Alaska Airlines can, and it's not the only one.

This week, the airline said it had removed the terminals at nine airports and is telling customers to use Alaska's app to download boarding passes or print them at home. It's part of a $2.5 billion plan to reimagine a more seamless travel experience.
