Earlier this week, in a stunning move, a U.S. district court judge blocked the proposed merger between JetBlue and Spirit. It's the first time the government has stopped an airline merger.

And now comes the fallout. Spirit's stock has been in freefall since the ruling, and some analysts are saying Spirit might not survive. At this hour, Spirit is reportedly seeking a refinancing deal to stay aloft.
