Not a hotel as you would describe it, but Norway's Hurtigruten ships are the greenest places I've stayed. Their commitment to sustainability is commendable- zero emission ships, biofuels, reduction in plastics and no single use plastics, buying local produce and proteins at port stops, and so many other initiatives.

If you're still in Curacao, ask about their "North Sea" Jazz Festival right across the street from the Marriott over Labor Day. Have traveled all the way from San Francisco 5+ times because it's easily the best way to see major acts in a more intimate setting without the crowds & (drunken) insanity of equivalent festivals in the U.S. or Europe.

It has been a few years ago so I can’t recall the name but it was near Ranthambore National Park and tiger preserve in India. More like a camp than a hotel.

Green hotel is an oxymoron. The "greenest" hotel we have stayed in in recent years was probably the Locanda Al Leon in Venice. Not because any specific hotel practices, but because they remodeled an ancient building to make a modest bed and breakfast. Right in the center of things, a five minute walk to the center of things and to the nearest water bus stop. Little impact on the character of the city. Not an Airbnb displacing locals. No disposables in the dining room. No elevator, just two rather steep flights of stairs to our room. It is "green" in the sense of having a minimal impact on the city.
