Deanne Schweer thought she was calling Princess Cruises after United Airlines canceled her flight from Minneapolis to Vancouver and it was clear she would miss her cruise. When she got through, a representative assured her she'd get a full refund for her vacation — as long as she paid a $275 per person cancellation fee.
But Schweer wasn't talking to Princess Cruises. It was a scammer.
