Here's how to tell if your cruise line is about to go under
It happened to Dale Wurzer.
American Queen Voyages recently offered him an irresistible deal on a river cruise — and he couldn't resist. He paid the cruise line a $3,630 deposit. And then he had second thoughts about the vacation and canceled.
"An American Queen Vacations representative authorized a full refund of our deposit with no deduction for cancellation since we canceled one day after making reservations," he says.
That was in September.
