Bridget Goodman is a President's Circle member of Hertz, which bestows godlike status on customers. But the car rental company questioned her divinity when she rented a vehicle at LAX recently.
"When I got home and looked at my credit card, I realized I had been charged an additional $400," she says.
The reason? Hertz claimed — incorrectly — that she had selected an upgrade.
