Consumer Alert: Airlines are ignoring their flat tire rules, unless …
AeroMexico kept one passenger's money after she got stuck in a traffic accident. Here's what happened next.
A massive traffic accident in Austin, Texas, delayed Fedora Galasso's arrival at the airport for her 7:40 a.m. flight to Mexico City.
"I was at the Austin airport at 6:45 a.m. and wasn’t checking any luggage," she says. "So I could have easily boarded."
But an AeroMexico representative said she was too late and wouldn’t let her on the plane. Galasso phoned AeroMexico, which claimed her ticket was nonrefundable and that she was a no-show.
