Our podcast is coming to you from Bodrum, Turkey, this week. We started in Cappadocia, where we toured ancient underground cities and churches carved in rock. And we ended in the Bodrum, along the Aegean, where we found castles and beautiful seascapes.

In this episode, we'll also read some of your comments from last week and we'll reveal a few secrets we learned about travel in Turkey.

Aren and Iden at the gate of Bodrum Castle.

We stopped by Susona Bodrum for a cooking class while we were here. The hotel had just opened for the season so we had the place to ourselves.

Of course, you can't go to Turkey without seeing carpets. We had an opportunity to visit a coop that makes handmade rugs in Bodrum. If we had a house back in the U.S., we would have definitely bought one of these!

Just to give you an idea of how narrow some of these enclosures are, here's Iden crawling into a stone church. A little scary, but well worth the trip.

Oh, and Iden just reminded me to include the photo of the VW they turned into a ball. We saw this at Zai Yaşam Bodrum, an eclectic restaurant with lots of quirky art.
