A cap credit on card interest rates?
A bipartisan Senate bill would limit interest rates to 10 percent. Maybe it's time to have an honest conversation about credit cards.
This week’s biggest travel news was not about travel, but credit cards. Two senators with virtually nothing in common — Bernie Sanders and Josh Hawley — introduced a bill to limit credit card interest rates to 10 percent.
It’s big news for travel because credit cards are big in travel. Points-earnings affinity cards are so big that they’re driving airline profitability (the inside joke is that they’re no longer airlines, but credit card companies with planes).
A cap on credit card interest rates? Is this a good idea?
