Looking for advice/help with a Ticketmaster issue — Backstreet Boys Toronto residency
Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction or share advice if they’ve experienced something similar with Ticketmaster.
I purchased 8 tickets for the Backstreet Boys show at Rogers Centre on February 20, 2027 (Section 30, Row 3, Seats 1–8) for a total of $5,530.80 CAD ($691.35 per ticket).
At the time of purchase, my seats were not identified as obstructed-view seats. When I contacted Ticketmaster to clarify the seating, I was initially told the seats were not obstructed. However, Ticketmaster has since provided contradictory information, and the same seats are now being sold as obstructed-view seats at approximately half the price.
I’ve been going back and forth with Ticketmaster, but they’ve refused to offer a reasonable resolution. I’m requesting a price adjustment of $268.05 per ticket, or $2,144.40 CAD total, to reflect the difference in value.
I believe this raises serious concerns about transparency and potentially misleading seating information, and I know other Backstreet Boys fans may be experiencing similar issues.
Has anyone successfully resolved a similar issue with Ticketmaster?
Any advice, contacts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m happy to share more details privately, including the correspondence with Ticketmaster.
Thank you! ❤
