A Booking.com problem highlights the importance of keeping things simple
Warning: Having multiple accounts with an online travel agency can lead to confusion — or worse.
Consider what happened to Camille Sailer when she tried to resolve a recent problem with Booking.com.
She'd found a vacation rental through the online agency. But after what Booking.com termed a "price fluctuation," it overcharged her by $191. Sailer complained, and Booking.com promised to return the money to the "wallet" in her account, but — you guessed it! — the money never showed up.
Then, the shocker: When she contacted customer service, a representative told her she was using the wrong email address.
